Born and raised in Istanbul, I had my first boat when I was 6 years old and have been cruising in the Aegean and Mediterranean Sea ever since. Coming from a family who has always been in production and passion for the sea, boat building had been a dream of mine. Luckily in 2000, I was able to convert this dream to reality. Beside of being the founder of Numarine, I can also define myself as the most loyal customer who enjoys to spent his time on a Numarine yacht.
Patrik von Sydow is a Swedish / British national with more than 30 years of international leadership experience in the automotive and luxury yacht industries. Growing up with a lifelong passion for both sailing and motorboats, he combined his engineering background with a career dedicated to innovation, operational excellence, and business growth.
After earning an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Lund University, Patrik began his career with SAAB Automobile before joining General Motors/Isuzu Motors UK, where he led the company's lean transformation and vehicle manufacturing operations.
In 1995, Patrik joined Sunseeker International, where he was responsible for manufacturing, purchasing, and product engineering. He played a key role in the company's rapid expansion, including its successful entry into the North American market and the introduction of its large yacht range.
Over the past two decades, Patrik has served as transformational CEO for some of the world's leading yacht builders, most recently Turquoise Yachts.
The diversity of challenges and technology in yachting excites me, leading the creation of a dream from a bucket of chemicals and a box of parts into a high tech luxury yacht capable of traveling the world in the harshest of environments is a most rewarding way to travel through life.
Industrial engineer with MBA, started at Numarine in 2006 right after university graduation. Has been through many departments in many different positions in years. Born and raised in Istanbul, Ali Tanır holds a degree in International Trade and Business and brings extensive international experience in the luxury yachting industry. With nearly two decades in the sector, he focuses on bridging the gap between yacht owners and Turkish shipyards — particularly as Turkey continues to emerge as one of the world’s leading superyacht-building nations. Now serving as Head of the Americas, he leads regional business development and client relations, combining expertise in new-build development, sales brokerage, and strategic marketing to build strong partnerships and deliver successful yacht projects from concept to delivery. Feeling great to be back and ready for action, he is focused on expanding opportunities and strengthening connections across the Americas market.
Born and raised in Istanbul, Salih Küçükoğlu is Numarine’s Sales Manager for the MENA and APAC regions, bringing a unique blend of technical expertise and design finesse to the yachting industry. A passionate diver with a background in mechanical engineering, he has worked with the world’s top interior designers, seamlessly combining aesthetics and functionality. His deep understanding of motor yachts allows him to expertly guide clients in selecting and personalizing the perfect yacht to match their vision.
Bogdan Gusarev joins Numarine with more than a decade of experience in the explorer yacht sector, focused on Europe and CIS countries . Having lived and worked across some of the world’s most relevant yacht building regions, including Germany, Italy and Türkiye, he brings a sharp international perspective, deep market knowledge and a direct, no-nonsense approach to client advisory.
Before entering the industry, Bogdan also lived aboard a sailing yacht, giving him a practical understanding of life at sea. This combination of first-hand experience, industry insight and international exposure allows him to guide clients with clarity, confidence and a strong understanding of what long-range yacht ownership truly requires.
Originally from Istanbul but been captivated by the charm of yachting industry while living in Spain. Gained robust experience in sales, business development and marketing strategies during previous experiences in different sectors as well such as banking and telecommunications. Born in Beykoz, Istanbul, he developed a deep passion for the sea while growing up along the unique shores of the Bosphorus. Coming from a family with a strong maritime heritage, he began his journey in the yachting industry at the age of 12, building a solid foundation of knowledge and experience that has shaped his professional career.

Zeynep Dıbırdık joins Numarine as Head of Fleet Development, focused on the lifecycle of a yacht . A naval architect by training, with a degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and a master's in Offshore Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, she brings engineering rigour, a structural approach to information, and a clear view of what an owner actually needs in the years following delivery and a creating Numarine community. Away from the yard, she is a competitive snowboarder, kite surfer and professional windsurfer, giving her a first-hand understanding of wind, weather and sea state rather than a theoretical one. This combination of technical training, time spent on the water and structured thinking allows her to hold owners, captains, brokers in one connected picture, so that support after handover is as considered as the build itself.
Born and raised in the vibrant city of Ankara, she is a name driven by her passion for building communication bridges between brands and their customers, and has been developing her expertise in marketing for the last 13 years. With her unique blend of experience and enthusiasm, she is poised to make waves with Numarine.
